Nicolas Chaudeurge is a French film editor who has cut over a dozen critically-acclaimed and award-winning features and television shows. Nicolas has collaborated closely with Andrea Arnold on her features Red Road and Fish Tank which both won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, and later on her experimental adaptation of Wuthering Heights. Other credits include Academy Award-winner Kevin McDonald’s feature documentary My Enemy’s Enemy, the Disney Nature wildlife feature, The Crimson Wing, New Zealand hit The Dark Horse and The Two Faces of January, the directing debut of Drive writer Hossein Amini.

He spent a significant portion of 2014 in the US editing Still Alice for which Julianne Moore won the Best Actress Academy Award and then went on to collaborate with artists Pierre Huygues (Monkey) and later Philippe Parreno (The Crowd).

Chaudeurge has also collaborated with director Owen Harris on multiple projects, including Troy: Fall of a City and the Emmy Award-winning Black Mirror episode, “San Junipero.”

Chaudeurge edited The Hummingbird Project, directed by Kim Nguyen and starring Jesse Eisenberg and Salma Hayek, which premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. He also cut Nick Rowland’s debut feature Calm with Horses, starring Barry Keoghan and Cosmo Jarvis. He recently edited episodes of the UK hit show Top Boy for Netflix and just finished The Third Day for Marc Munden and HBO/Plan B.
